Take this opportunity to allow yourself to focus on these specialty topics that we don’t usually have time to dig into!
Each intensive will have a beginner track and an intermediate/advanced track. These tracks will be happening simultaneously, and you will be practicing with other students in your track level.
No partner or experience necessary!

9 hours of class over 3 days and a very delicious home cooked asado with options for all dietary restrictions.

Do I need a partner? Nope! We teach everyone both the lead and the follow, so you'll gain even more knowledge and will be able to dance with everyone in the room.
Do I need special shoes? Not yet! Feel free to come in something comfy and stable. If you already own dance shoes, bring those!
What should I wear? Comfortable clothes you can move in.

This 12 week semester will offer Tango 100, 200, & 300 levels. Once you advance to higher levels you are welcome to join previously passed levels for free. This way, the farther you get in the curriculum, the more classes you can attend with your membership.
If you miss classes or need to start the semester late, you can get caught up by taking private lessons. During the semester, an enrolled student has the option of taking a $100 private lesson at any time. (Regular single private lessons are $145)
Each week has its own topic for each level course. The more classes you attend each week the deeper you will be able to dive into each topic, but it’s ok if you can only make it to once class per week. All Virginia Tango classes and practicas, and are included in the semester’s registration fee. Milongas are not included in the price of the semester.
The location for all classes and events is at 13110 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian VA 23113. Parking is very easy!
We'll always have light snacks and the expresso machine (bring 4 quarters!). At the big dance we have a large spread of Argentine food and wine.
As for clothing and footwear, please wear something comfortable. You can wear dance specific shoes if you have them, or sneakers are fine too. We'll provide you with a dance sock that can go over a sneaker if needed.

Can I stay for the higher level classes if I'm enrolled in a lower level course? You are welcome to sit and audit classes above your level, but please do not interrupt the other students or ask questions during that time.

Private lessons are with Cristian unless otherwise specified.
Each class is 1 hour long.
The location for all private classes is 3902 Floyd Ave, Richmond VA 23221. Parking is very easy!

Private lessons are to be scheduled by you and the teacher based on mutual availability between the hours of 10am - 9pm.
Discount packages need to be scheduled in advance and need to be completed within 3 months.
Cancellations need to be made 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in a $35 fee.
