Nope! Not even a little bit. You never need a partner to learn or even to enjoy the social dance! In class everyone learns how to lead and follow so we can all switch partners and practice with everyone! At the social dance it’s common for people to dance with different people for each set of music (called a Tanda)!

We hear this question a lot. It’s totally normal to feel like you can’t dance. That’s literally why we’re here. We can help anyone learn to tango, and it’s our pleasure to help you find your right foot. We promise you still have one.

Tango is like … chess! At first you learn how the pieces move, then you learn some strategies, and it may take a long time to become a master, but there’s a lot of fun that can be had along the way!
