Frequently asked questions

  • We sell tango shoes for men and women right here in Richmond! If you can’t find what you’re looking for on our boutique page just contact us and we’ll set up a private showing so you can see everything that’s currently in stock. We have two lines of shoes; One made in Italy, and the other in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  • There is no dress code for class, you can dress up, which will add to the over all aesthetic of your dance, or down like you’re going to yoga class. Either way, this dance is about connection and you’ll be in close proximity to others, so no matter what you wear, it’s better if it smells good!

  • Nope! No parter is needed to learn this dance. We rotate partners frequently in class as well as teach everyone to dance both roles, so come on by and treat yourself!

  • This is a common question! Once you start your tango journey you’ll meet people who have been enjoying as well as studying for 5, 10, or even 20 years. It’s an art form that has no limits on how far it can take you. You can expect to enjoy a night out of social dancing sooner if you put the hours in and focus on practicing. In general, a combination of private lessons and a regular practice partner help dancers progress the fastest.

  • We’d love to put a show on for your event, be it private or public. Please get in touch with us to book a tango show.
